Account details: Your name, email address, phone number, and password when you register.
Profile information: Display name, profile photo, location (state and city).
Business information: If you claim or manage a business, we collect business name, address, category, contact details, photos, and operating hours.
User-generated content: Reviews, ratings, comments, posts, and event RSVPs you submit.

1.2 Information We Collect Automatically

Device data: Device type, operating system version, app version, and unique device identifiers.
Usage data: Pages viewed, features used, search queries, and interaction timestamps.
Location data: General location (state/city) to personalise search results. We do not track precise GPS coordinates unless you explicitly grant permission.

1.3 Information from Third Parties

We may receive information about you from third-party services (e.g., social login providers) if you choose to connect them.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

Provide, operate, and improve the Service.
Personalise your experience and surface relevant businesses and content.
Send transactional notifications (OTP codes, claim updates, booking confirmations).
Send promotional communications — you can opt out at any time.

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share it with:

Service providers who help us operate the platform (hosting, analytics, email delivery) under strict data-processing agreements.
Business owners when you submit a review or claim: your display name and review content become visible on their business listing.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at privacy@imlokl.com. Certain data may be retained longer where required by law.
